About

In November of 2009, we sat down and devised a plan to contribute toward abating hunger in Tehama County. Since the campaign founder, a senior at Red Bluff High School, already had experience in graphic design and screen-printing, a tee shirt fundraiser seemed to be a fitting approach. A shirt campaign is ideal in that it raises funds and simultaneously promotes the message.

The “Stop Hunger!” campaign has four main components:
• First, we designed a shirt that advocates the cause in a fashionable manner.
• Second, we created a website to market the shirts online (You’re on it!).
• Third, Key Club members began selling them throughout the county.
• And finally, 100% of profits generated will be poured into a charitable organization that serves the hungry in our community.

This is where PATH comes in. PATH – Poor and the Homeless – is a local charity that provides shelter and food. We decided that a donation of funds to PATH would have the most optimal effect. The money would be allocated to providing food for those who need it the most.

Currently, the campaign is small-scale, but we believe it has great capacity to expand. Ultimately, we hope that other Key Clubs will decide to adopt this campaign and contribute towards the cause (Contact us if you’re thinking about starting your own “Stop Hunger!” campaign!).

Thank you for being so supportive to our community. We’re all in it together. Stop Hunger!
